Brian was admitted to practice in NSW in 2005 after completing an Arts Law program at the University of New England.

After completing his tertiary education Brian worked with the Department of Public Prosecutions during his practical legal placement.

Since admission, Brian has completed a Masters Degree in Law (UNE) and is currently undertaking an Applied Masters in Family Law, which will be completed in 2009. Prior to his studies and admission to the practice of law, Brian was a Police Officer in New South Wales for over twenty years, gaining experience early in his service in the Prosecuting Branch; and was a detective for over fifteen years, including a number of years with the Homicide Unit.

Since admission Brian had practiced initially in Bathurst, and more recently Gosford in a small firm, where he was a partner. Brian has an interest in family and criminal law given his background and the type of general practice work he has been engaged in.

Brian is admitted to practice in New South Wales and Federal and Family Courts and appears regularly in Local and District Courts for criminal matters, including pleas, hearings and appeals and trials and appears regularly in the Federal Magistrates and Family Courts in respect of family court proceedings.
